Good Living Counseling is a private practice located in Missouri that is seeking an LPC who is dynamic, compassionate, and experienced to provide virtual counseling with a variety of clients and issues. The practice has primarily focused on high school and young adults but is looking to expand into the child and adolescent client population.

We are looking for an LPC who is looking for a part-time or full-time position and desires a 1099 independent contract position. The ideal candidate is someone willing to manage their own schedule, complete telehealth appointments, and submit timely client documentation from the comfort of their own home.

Essential Functions:

• Provides virtual individual psychotherapy services
• Conduct initial and psychosocial assessments to understand a client’s mental health concerns
• Develop treatment plans designed to help the individual set goals and overcome their problems
• Regularly meet with patients and provide them with skills, tools, and strategies
• Writing timely progress notes and keeping client records up to date
• Researching latest counseling methodologies, new treatment modalities, and staying up to date with best practices
• Maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries with clients
• Refer patients to other mental healthcare providers as necessary

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in counseling or a related field
• All state-mandated licenses required for practice
• Maintaining current licensure, renewals and annual required trainings
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deliver treatment that is customized to meet the unique needs of every patient
• Strong critical thinking, communication, self-discipline, time management and active listening skills
